Kate Bradley

About Me

I'm Kate Bradley. I live in Evergreen Park with my husband and two daughters. I fell in love with quilting at a class in my local library about 15 years ago. I still hang out with the people that I met in that class.

I like piecing and free motion quilting. For a change I'll paper piece, but it is my least favorite way to put a quilt together. I'd say I am an intermediate quilter that is always up for a challenge.

The part of my job that I like the most is helping people pick out fabric for a project. Seeing the end product is super fun. I also like teaching people to use their machines. The littlest mention of a button on a machine, or a foot that helps get the job done, is so rewarding.

Outside of QQ I am a library trustee, retired chef, and marathon runner.
