OESD School of Embroidery

Each embroidery lesson will focus on different machine embroidery techniques, stabilizers, embroidery placement and design collections.

The class will begin with a lecture and demonstration covering the technique of the month.
The second part of the class will be a hands-on learning experience for you to put your new knowledge to work.

January - Embroidering Towels
Create this useful tote to take to the beach. Easy to carry over the shoulder, your beach towel folds into the tote; it can also hold essentials such as car keys, money, and sunblock. Finished size: 18 x 14” without handles This project is compatible with any embroidery machine that has the capability to stitch 6” x 7” designs.

March - Mastering T-Shirts
Learn how to successfully embroider a knit garment while creating an elegant top. You will embroider on your own t-shirt or other knit top with a round or scoop neck while learning how to properly stabilize, align, and hoop a knit garment.
