Postage Stamp Table Runner VIRTUAL Class

All of the tiny squares in a postage stamp quilt block can make the piecing seem daunting.  However, using a fusible grid to position and align the fabric squares transforms the process, making it easy to get the fabric arrangement that you like while also getting all of the corners to align.

The class project will be a small table runner, easily completed without binding.  The size of the piece can be easily customized to fit a particular space in your home, and this is lovely in holiday colors or in colors to match your decor.  If you prefer, you can also use your postage stamp piece as the first block of a quilt.

This virtual class will begin with an explanation and a demonstration of the technique.  Participants will first make and complete a small mug rug sized piece to experience the process from start to finish, and then start on their runners.  The online class will break for several hours so that you have time to sew, and then re-group later in the day for show and tell and a chance to address any challenges that you have encountered.

This is an online class, and you will connect to the class from your own home. You will need a computer or other device with internet capability so that you can log in to the class via a Zoom link that will be sent by email prior to class.  Detailed project instructions will be emailed at the same time.
