Machine Quilting with Metallic Thread Virtual Lecture

While metallic threads can create wonderful effects on quilts, many quilters avoid using them because they think they can be too difficult to use. However, many of these threads can be easily and successfully used, and even heavy metallic threads can be successfully used for quilting by using a technique called bobbin quilting. The type of needle and thread and the way you set up your sewing machine all make a difference.

In this lecture/demonstration, you will see how to successfully use metallic threads in a variety of ways and will receive important tips for using these threads on your quilts.

This is an online class, and you will participate in the class from your own home. You will need a computer or other device with internet capability so that you can connect to the class via a Zoom link that will be provided prior to class. The class handout will be emailed to participants prior to the class.
