Get to Know Your Machine
Do you have a sewing machine that is gathering dust while you wish you could use it? Bring in all makes and models and have Kate show you the basics to give you confidence to jump into the sewing world. Please bring your machine, power cord, bobbins, feet, fabric scraps, thread and snips, and manual if you have it. (Machine should be less that 20 years old.) We will review the very basics of threading and filling a bobbin to get you started creating. Some machines need more project maintenance, but we will show you how to do it. We will review threads and correct needles to successfully complete your projects. This is a great confidence builder for new sewers. Or, a reminder for people that have set their machine aside for a while. Feel free to bring a snack and/or drink.
