Carry Along Bag
Two Bags (or more) in one! The trend now is to have one basic bag and jazz it up with different printed webbing straps! For this class you will choose a solid color cork for the bag, and then make 2 straps for 2 totally different looks! We will be using the Sallie Tomato Carry Along largest size bag with no wristlet strap
We will also be making fabulous straps using the Make-A-Strap pattern from Sallie Tomato! We will make one basic adjustable strap using 1 ½’ webbing and hardware in supplies.
Then make one hybrid adjustable strap using 1 ½” webbing and hardware listed in supplies. Don’t panic, it’s much easier than it sounds! We will cut out the pieces for the straps in class. You will need your leftover pieces of cork from the bag.
Just to jazz it up a bit, I’ll show you how to add rivets to your straps. I have the rivet tool. You just need to purchase small rivets from Sallie Tomato.
We will have fun making this bag!
