Mia Crossbody Bag
No more cork phobia or zipper phobia! Cork is easy to work with, beautiful, and eco-friendly. This bag by Sallie Tomato is for beginner to intermediate sewists. Depending on the fabric, this crossbody bag could be made for casual or for formal occasions. Choose your favorite fabric for the top and a beautiful cork for the bottom of the bag. So many choices of fabric and cork! You will learn sewing with cork, putting in a zipper, making a crossbody strap and making a boxed bottom. You will also learn how to make a tassel.
The Mia bag is 9” wide, 6” high and 2 1⁄2 “deep. So sign up and get ready to sew a beautiful bag!
YOU MUST COME TO CLASS WITH EVERYTHING CUT OUT AND LABELLED.
We will be starting promptly at 10 so come early enough to have your machine set up and ready.
We will not take an actual lunch break but bring something to munch on.
Notes; The pattern suggests foam or air mesh. I recommend Soft and Stable foam. Be sure you purchase the #5 zippers by the yard by Sallie Tomato.
